Documentary about the Boston Strangler
The National Geographic Channel produced a documentary titled, Undercover History: The Hunt for the Boston Strangler. The producer asked us to explore if the police ever had any other serious suspects in addition to Albert DeSalvo, who eventually confessed to the crime. We gained permission from Edward Brooke, former U.S. Senator from Massachusetts, to research his papers. Brooke was the Attorney General in Boston at the time of the crime spree.
Facility: Library of Congress
Result: We found documents and a wanted poster for other suspects that was used in the film.
